Cat Scratches
Transpennine Express Class 68, 68 031 "Felix", hauls a Crewe to Liverpool Lime Street training/test train comprising the new Mk5a stock through Hartford station.
The Class 68s are owned by Beacon Rail and sub-leased by TPE to haul their Nova 3 trains from Direct Rail Services.
The locomotive's name is a reference to the "cat" nickname for the Class 68s (due to their Caterpillar engines) whilst the Mk5a stock is already showing the signs of close encounters with encroaching lineside vegetation.
