Long Train Running

The Garston/Dagenham STVA working is one of the longest regular services on Network Rail metals - and with two engines on is even longer. The consist is in the region of 750m long - or a little shy of half a mile in old money.

Recently reinstated GB Railfreight Class 92, 92 020 heads the loaded 6X41 working through Acton Bridge. Class 66, 66 735 is tucked in DIT behind 92020 as "insurance" whilst the 92 - stored out of use for almost 18 years - gets settled back.
