Testing Shot

With the full sun behind posing a real challenge to my (basic!) photography skills I ended up with a very dark photo of 92020 and 92010 on their second test run north to Carnforth. However, Lightroom saved the day...!

After cutting the northbound test run short south of Wigan the previous day due to misbehaviour from 020, the loco was attended to by DB Cargo's finest at Crewe ETD and was ready for another crack at getting to Carnforth.

Seen here approaching Norton Crossing near Daresbury, GB Railfreight's Class 92 92 020, with 92 010 in tow for insurance, made it successfully to Carnforth at the second attempt as 0Z96.
