Ravel Races North

After just over a month out action for exam and repairs, GBRf's Midnight Teal-liveried Class 92, 92 023 (formerly named "Ravel") finally escaped the confines of Wembley and stretched her legs again on the Caledonian Sleeper Highlander service (1S25).

Seen at Hartford, 92023 would take the train to Edinburgh Waverley, where it splits and is taken forward by diesel traction to Inverness, Aberdeen and Fort William.

92023 had its ETS converted to 1500V soon after to work the Mk5 test runs so this may be the last photo on Flickr of 023 hauling Mk3s/Mk2s.
