Tight Squeeze
GBRf Class 92, 92 043 (formerly named Debussy) stands at the blocks of Platform 1 at a sultry Euston having brought in the empty stock (5S95) for the Caledonian Sleeper Highlander service (1S25). As is the usual diagram, after 1S25 had left, 92043 then went on to work the Lowlander (1S26).
The shot shows how tight a squeeze it is for the 16-coach Sleeper to fit in Platform 1 when it has a 92 at each end. 043 is about as close to the block as it can get, whilst over 400m away at the other end the train engine (023) sits just beyond the starting signal.
