Oblivious

A lady walks off the platform at Fenny Stratford station oblivious to the rarity of what's passing her. In a very rare combination anywhere, let alone along the Marston Vale single-track branch line between Bedford and Bletchley, Class 50, 50 008 "Thunderer" hauls GBRf Class 92, 92 028, on 0Z81 from Loughborough Brush to Wembley Yard.

92028 had been in Brush to receive the CAF mods, including Dellners, in order to operate the new Mk5 sleeper stock. 028 is the fifth of ten (for now) 92s to have the mods completed, with 038, 023, 014 and 033 already completed. It is the first 92 in "freight" livery to receive the mods - although under the paintwork and vinyls all of the GB 92s are pretty much the same.

50008 is (I believe) owned by Garcia Hanson and operated by DCR. The loco was on-hire to GBRf for the locomotive move, with the 50 then returning with 010 from Wembley to Brush for it to undergo its CAF mods.
