A Long Way from the Tunnel

Having arrived a mere 220 Late at Edinburgh Waverley with the Lowlander following OHLE issues and then a broken down train, GBRf Class 92, 92 032 "IMechE Railway Division" prepares to work the ECS move back to Polmadie depot (5B26).

92032 - still sporting "Europorte" (Eurotunnel) branding - should've taken the Caledonian Sleeper Lowlander (1S26) to Glasgow, but after a two hour wait at Beattock Summit, the usual split at Carstairs did not happen and the full train went to Edinburgh.

On the right is ScotRail Class 170, 170 428 which had worked 1L58 0923 Arbroath to Edinburgh and was waiting to take 1L51 1159 Edinburgh to Abroath (although it was caped short at Dundee due to late running caused by the same broken down train that impacted 1S26).
