Royal Corps of Signals on 0Z92
After two previous attempts over the previous week were postponed, GBRf Class 92s, 92 032 "IMechE Railway Division" and 92 023 finally made it out of Brush at the third time of asking - courtesy of 66 756 "Royal Corps of Signals" on 0Z92 Loughborough Brush to Crewe Holding Sidings.
023 had been in Brush six months primarily for CAF mods (including the fitting of Dellner couplings) whereas 032 had been in since late January for attention to its wheelsets. Judging by the smart appearance of 032's bogies, it is possible its original bogies have been swapped for a refurbed set.
66 756 brought the two Class 92s into Platform 8 at Crewe station, prior to a change of ends and 92 032 then led the convoy back out into the Down Holding Sidings just south of the station.
