Driving South

DB Cargo Class 90, 90 036 "Driver Jack Mills", named after the driver involved in the Great Train Robbery, awaits the path for the 0A06 light engine move from Crewe Electric depot to Wembley European Freight Operations Centre. Class 92, 92 015, is in tow resplendent in its DB Red livery with added "Yiwu-London" china freight train branding.

As the DB Cargo Class 92s are now restricted to operating only on HS1 and through the Channel Tunnel, they require dragging between Dollands Moor and their "home" depot of Crewe Electric (Crewe IEMD). 92015 had been at CE for a routine exam.

The Class 90s used to tow the Class 92s are often in faded EWS livery and likewise three of the remaining five DBC Class 92s currently in service in the UK are in somewhat dishevelled Triple Grey livery, so it was good to capture two of the smarter examples of each fleet wearing up-to-date "Red Team" colours.
