Breaking Dawn - 92010 on a heavily delayed 1M16 at Winsford
Due to severe flooding just south of Warrington Bank Quay both southbound (Up) Caledonian Sleeper services were heavily delayed, meaning they passed through a very icy Winsford within the space of 15 mins of each other just before 8am.
Both services were GBRf Class 92 hauled - first up was 92 033 on the Lowlander (1M11) running well over 3 hours late, followed shortly afterwards by 92 010 (pictured) on the Highlander (1M16) running just over 2.5 hours late.
1M16 had also suffered an earlier significant delay near Dalwhinnie when the train in front of it hit a deer.
1M11 eventually made it to Euston 187 mins late and 1M16 was only marginally better arriving 165 mins late.
