Grey-t to Be Back!
Apart from a brief spell of eight return workings in May by 014, there has not been consistent Class 92 haulage on the 6X41/6L48 Dagenham-Garston car circuit since early February. This looks to be changing, with 92044 being sent north from Wembley to Crewe on 24 September to then move to Garston the following day to replace the incumbent shed.
The last Class 92 in original Railfreight "Triple Grey" livery to be running on Network Rail metals, GBRf's 92 044 "Couperin" - complete with original tunnel rings and Crewe Electric depot plaque - eases the (almost) empty STVAs through Acton Bridge on 6L48 Garston Car Terminal to Dagenham Dock Reception.
