Where's the yellow?!
Finally got round to uploading my pics from the DRS Open Day 2018 at Gresty Bridge TMD... which look pretty much like all the other ones on Flickr from the day!
DRS Class 68, 68 019 "Brutus" in the interesting TPE livery - personally I think it looks odd without the yellow warning panel and that would make it look a lot better. Maybe I'll get used to the lack of yellow panels...?
68019 and its sister locomotive 68021 had just returned to Crewe after performing Mk5a testing at Velim, Czech Republic. Their journey out there (courtesy of Rail Operations Group) was quite a saga due to paperwork issues, lack of paths etc - they went to Dollands Moor and back, then to Frethun and no further, before finally being moved to Immingham and going via boat to Germany. Sensibly they returned via boat and kept to what they knew worked!
