Cut that tree down, please...!

On a beautiful but cold winter's morning, GBRf Class 92, 92 028 powers the 6S94 china clay tanks north through Winsford en route to Irvine Caledonian Paper. Class 66, 66 722 "Sir Edward Watkin" was DIT having earlier hauled the train from Dollands Moor to Wembley over the troublesome Third Rail.

As can be seen in the video here a Network Rail Orange Army were out cutting down the random bushes/trees that have sprung up on the embankment on this stretch. Hopefully they moved on to remove the tree/bush in the centre of this shot as it has a habit of getting in the way of photos from this location.

The GBRf traction for this working was as follows:

92 044 + 92 028 Frethun - Dollands Moor (Channel Tunnel)

66 722 + 92 028 (DIT) 6D94 Dollands Moor - Wembley

92 028 + 66 722 (DIT) 6S94 Wembley - Carlisle New Yard

66 722 6S94 Carlisle New Yard - Irvine Caledonian Paper GBRf
