Love Grows Here

-- I stand within this house, staring at it's withering form knowing it will soon be demolished. It's walls crumbling, it's foundation sliding, truthfully falling apart at the seams. Roots have taken hold and are claiming it back down into the earth day by day. To me though it is so much more than it's structure and it's financial worth. It houses memories that cannot be erased nor a value placed on them. It is the source of my past, my present, and future because it molded me into the person I am today. This home is not just a building with four walls it is a space of cherished times; and when I look around I see that love grows here. --
