Final hyperlapse

Living through the screen -

When the concept of virtual photography was first introduced I was in two minds about how I felt about letting someone else do the work for me. When I think of photography I think about going to a place and capturing a moment that I personally experienced, which made this idea seem impersonal and not so impressive. But when it came to making a hyperlapse I found it very satasfying and rewarding seeing the final product put together. However I still felt unable to achieve something more than just a funky looking stop motion. So in project two I wanted to address this thought and discovered that while I was looking at all these amazing places I had never seen before I felt like I was trying to live through my computor, and live through the experience that google was presenting me with. This was when I came up with my final propsal of wanting to make a statement about living through our screens. I decided to choose a common place that I know the class have experienced and was easily accessable to me bacuase I wanted my final shoot to actually be in the location to help draw the contection. Overall I am pleased with the result and feel that with the constrainst of working with the shoots street view provided I have made a reasonably smooth hyperlapse. Im terms of the naravtive I feel I was beginning to protray it well but there is protential to make the statement stronger with further development.
