The Society: A Plan Comes Together

In a dark room, deep beneath Metropolis, a man sharply dressed in a suit looked over footage that was slowly coming in from a project he had abandoned years ago, when the League snatched it up and locked it away.

 

However, the man could still access cameras he had put within the cybernetics of the project.

 

“Well, Henshaw...” The man muttered, a smile coming across his face as the readouts started to display on the screen, “Look’s like ‘Cyborg Superman’ isn’t completely useless anymore, hm?”

 

“I wouldn’t say so, Luthor.”

 

Luthor turned around to see the Riddler standing in the doorway, the ever-present smug grin of Edward Nygma shining back at the multi-billionaire. Lex gave him a smile of his own and nodded to the screen.

 

“The plan was successful. The lantern’s in the Watchtower’s vault, and believe it or not, that was the easy part.”

 

“Oh, it was plenty easy for me, Lex. Don’t sell me that short.”

 

“...right.” Lex shook his head and returned his gaze to the screen, looking at the readouts Cyborg Superman continued to give him of the lantern.

 

“Now comes the hard part; Getting in there.”
