Powers: Able to fire beams of pure quintessence from his right arm (can heal and do damage), extremely enhanced strength and durability

 

Origin:

Ross Quintal was a young and up-and-coming doctor within Harvest City, attempting to find out how to cheat death. He had heard of the legends of “quintessence,” and how it was the purest form of life, and wanted to harness it. After years of research, he discovered a way to receive quintessence. After a patient he thought wouldn’t be missed was hospitalized, he placed his experimental quintessence harness on the man and drained him of all his life force, pawning it off as a heart attack. As soon as he put it on, the power it gave him drove him mad. Afterwards, he returned home, where he drained his dying mother, and went into the streets to test his abilities, draining three gang members. He then went on a rampage throughout the hospital he worked at, pitting him against Shellman, who eventually used his shell to deflect his beam and drain Quintal of his powers, leaving him to the police.
