Origin:

Mark used to be a mundane office worker, in a mundane cubicle, in a mundane office. Life was planned out, with set times for everything. Very cookie cutter. Mark was looking for some way out, wanting something more out of life, never truly knowing what. He would collect vacation days to go on long trips just to get away from it all, and on one of these trips, he stumbled upon something; An alien artifact, a shell of some sort with a large dent in it, lodged in a mountain he was climbing. As soon as Mark touched the shell, he knew he found his way out. The shell gave him visions of its previous users, and how it was used to save lives before it came to Earth. Mark decided to do the same, placing the shield on his back. As the costume extended over his body, he knew he had found something more out of life.
