Origin:

Katrina Maxwell was the head cheerleader at Light City High School, though being in that position brought with it unneeded criticisms and stress, as well as multiple people viewing her as a stuck up rich girl. Katrina truly felt at home studying the stars and astronomy, so when news of a meteor shower broke, Katrina had to see it. Sneaking out of her parent's apartment after her curfew to head to the city park, the meteor shower brought with it unknown danger. At around 9:05, a meteor struck the park, blasting away multiple viewers who were their to witness the shower and Katrina as well. She was comatose for a week, before awakening and discovering her abilities shortly after being brought home. Katrina decided to use her abilities for good rather than hide them, against her parents urges. They set up stricter curfews and tried to keep her powers under wraps. Katrina defied them, creating a suit out of her old cheerleading uniform and taking the name Quantumax
