Tanerverse Origins: Killer Moth
At a young age, colorblind Drury Walker was orphaned. His mother was a drunk and his father had ran out on them a while ago. So, Drury turned to someone he could trust; His billionaire uncle Cameron Van Cleer. Van Cleer took Drury in with open arms, taking him to parties and social events. Drury became friends with a young Bruce Wayne before he shut himself off from the world after his parents died. As Drury grew older, his uncle’s health started to deteriorate. With his last wish, Cameron Van Cleer left Drury his fortune, and Drury felt content...until the Batman appeared. Drury now led Van Cleer Industries, and the company didn't have a clean slate. Batman took Drury’s secret criminal empire down, shutting down Van Cleer Industries and almost stripping him of his billions. Drury’s lawyers got him out of it, but he resented Batman from that day on. Using his fortune, he crafted the persona of Killer Moth, a criminal version of Batman. His costume, he had thought, would strike fear into the GCPD, though his color blindness messed with that dream. He slowly became respected within the Gotham underground, despite the pitfalls he went through, even becoming an enforcer in the Joker’s gang. Drury felt content.
