57012 - Ex Royal Mail Coach Shunt

A surprise and little-known about shunt today at Hellifield involved moving the redundant Royal Mail stock from the sidings at Hellifield where they have resided for around the last 12 years into the shed. The supposed purpose of this move is to make way for a timber loading pad on the site where the Ex Royal Mail stock has sat.
I don't often accompany Flickr uploads with lengthy accompanying text, but this is a move that I am very lucky to have caught and that the reasoning behind it will be of interest to others.
