13. Mai 1996: Stadler Rail führt der EBT/SMB/VHB-Gruppe den ersten gebauten Normalspur-Gelenktriebwagen GTW Bm 596 671 vor (Diesel-Prototyp). Das Bild zeigt das Fahrzeug am Nachmittag in Huttwil VHB (Vereinigte Huttwil Bahnen). Kurz darauf fuhr der Zug zurück nach Deutschland, wo die MThB (MittelThurgauBahn) auf der wiedereröffneten Strecke Radolfzell-Stockach ("Seehäsle") mit den 3 bisher gebauten GTW-Prototypen den Personenverkehr besorgte.
May 13, 1996: Stadler Rail shows the first built standard gauge articulated railcar GTW Bm 596 671 (diesel prototype) to the EBT/SMB/VHB group. The picture shows the vehicle in the afternoon at Huttwil VHB (Vereinigte Huttwil Bahnen). Shortly afterwards, the train headed back to Germany, where the MThB (MittelThurgauBahn) provided passenger service on the reopened Radolfzell-Stockach ("Seehäsle") line with the 3 GTW prototypes built so far.
