Re 4/4 11101 mit Swiss-Express bei Bollodingen, P8050690-1
Am 2. April 1997 war die allererste im Jahre 1964 als Prototyp gebaute Re 4/4 11101 noch in täglichem Einsatz: Schnellzug 2530 Bern – Basel SBB mit Swiss-Express EW III bei Bollodingen. Die Lokomotive wurde erst 2014 nach 50 Jahren hartem Einsatz ausrangiert (!)
On April 2, 1997, the very first Re 4/4 11101, built in 1964 as the first prototype, was still in daily service: express train no. 2530 Bern - Basel SBB with Swiss-Express EW III cars near Bollodingen. The locomotive was retired in 2014 after 50 years of hard service (!).
