Mission 17.2 Riots on Corellia

"Finally!" N'Case shouted. "Some droids to blast!" Being on riot duty had made us all--even me--anxious for some fighting. "Yeah, but why?" Winslow replied. "Why are there clankers on Corellia, the war isn't even here yet." "Maybe," I chimed in, "it just arrived."

First, we had to find those airdrops. We scouted out buildings in three different sectors of the capital. Nothing. "Did they forget to drop them?" Winslow asked, half-joking. Just then, my com alerted me of an incoming transmission. "This is Sergeant Redwing, of the 1st regiment. There was a small group of rebels sabotaging the airdrops. We eliminated them, but the supplies in sectors one, four, and five are gone. If you want the drops, try the second row of buildings in the third sector. Lots of extra blasters over here. Redwing, out." You don't have to be a genius to figure out where we went next.

I opened the crate, and immediately saw a pair of DC-17 pistols. "I'm keepin' these. . ." I muttered to myself. After we were geared up, we started to make our way towards the shipyards.

The choice had been difficult. We could stay and protect the civilians--who had been rioting at our mere existence--or we could stop the droids once and for all. We all decided that a little action would do us good. Though I couldn't help but wonder if that was the right choice. I've never served under a Jedi before, but I admire their quest for peace. Their value of life. Something the Republic is lacking.

But the most effective Jedi that I've heard of, like that Skywalker they keep talking about, doesn't play by the rules. Is losing the fight worth the satisfaction of playing fair?

The shipyards were abandoned. No workers in sight. "That makes sense," I thought. "They're all at the riots." Then we heard that noise. The noise of frail, metal creatures marching in unison. Battle droids. They lacked basic intelligence, but their numbers. . . Their numbers are the reason my first squad died on Geonosis. They would pay. Every last one. After all, they're the only thing I don't mind blasting, and I needed target practice.

Another entry in the books! I'm quite happy with how this one turned out. Once again though, I kinda went overkill with dark bley. I just love that color. xD

The figure positioning could be better. I was gonna have the Strike leader in the build, I even built him, but I ended up taking him out cause it was a little crowded. And he didn't even make an appearance in the log, so there was no need to show him.

*Any constructive criticism is welcome*
