S T R I N G S Part 1: The turning
It was a nice quiet night for Bruce Wayne when Victor Stone (also known as Cyborg) slams open the door to Bruce’s office and yells “BRUCE! Superman's gone rogue!” Bruce Wayne stands up from his desk. “Get the kryptonite,” Cyborg goes running down to the bat cave and loads up his gun with kryptonite.
Cyborg: Bruce, he is in downtown Gotham, we need to get there now!
Bruce comes out to Cyborg dressed in his Batman suit.
Batman: You got the kryptonite?
Cyborg: Yes.
They get into the batmobile and head to downtown Gotham. Superman is on the streets holding a policeman in his arms.
Superman: They are coming! It is coming!
It seems like he is in tears as he breaks the policeman's back. He drops him and jumps onto the helicopter that is directly above him and throws it to the ground
Superman: You have to listen to me! You all have to run! Hide!
Batman: It is kind of hard to listen to you when you're screaming and killing people like a mad man!
Superman: Batman you have to go. This is better for us like this…
Batman: You’re not making sense Superman.
Superman's eyes light up red as he screams. His laser eyes go out of control and start burning through buildings.
Batman: Not in my city. Now Cyborg!
Cyborg shoots the kryptonite at Superman. He falls to his knees.
Policeman: Superman you are under arrest for manslaughter.
Batman: Sir, let me take him where he needs to go.
Policeman: And how do we know you won't set him free?
Batman: If I do, you can personally come and arrest me.
With that they hand Superman over to them. They bring him to an A.R.G.U.S holding facility with lead walls and the strongest class in the world. They have just the right amount of krypton that he won't be able to use his powers but he won't get hurt either. Bruce walks up to the glass cell.
Bruce: Clark, why? Why did you do that back there? I have never seen you act that way! And killing 3 men?! That is unlike you! What on earth has gotten into you?
Clark doesn't even turn around, he keeps looking at the wall through his glass cell.
Bruce: The rest of the world and I are very disappointed in you.
Bruce turns to walk away.
Superman: Why are you treating me like your kid? I am trying to save you!
Bruce turns and smashes his fist on the glass.
Bruce: To hell with saving us! Killing 3 men in my city?! Killing 3 innocent men that were just trying to save everyone else from you!
Superman doesn't reply he just keeps looking at the wall. Bruce walks away
Bruce: here.
He hands the two guards some guns
Bruce: In case he breaks out. They are kryptonite guns.
Cyborg stops Bruce from walking out.
Cyborg: Are you alright?
Bruce: I am fine.
And with that they both walk out the door.
