Iteration 1
What became my first iteration was conceived last in my design process. My initial CAD models were designed to be machined. I decided to 3D print a prototype before investing the time and expense in materials and machining. It was while optimizing my models for 3D printing that I considered it could be worthwhile to test the range of motion possible using the minimum number of axes. This is why this model possessed redundant features for servo mounting. Once printed, I recognized the need to solve the problem of properly routing and concealing wires.
