Primary School: Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Tharthari, Block- Tharthari, District: Nalanda Bihar, India, 17 May 2013:.Swati (R) who suffers from hearing disability reacts during a class at a bridge school in ,KGBV ( Tharthari), May 17, 2013. Bihar is one of the first states which started initiatives to educate disabled girls who are either Hearing impairment or orthopedically handicapped. This initiative for children with special need (CWSN) has been started with collaboration of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV). Girls with disabilities are receiving special focus and efforts would be made under the scheme to help them gain access to education, medial support, accommodation and other required supports.
