Apart from death and taxes, there are two other certainties in life - that the weather will take no notice of a BBC Breakfast forecast. And that Aubrey Dale is rubbish as a racing tipster!
"Bet the house on Lighthouse Mill in the 1st" he says. "Sure fire winner - got it straight from the horse's mouth" he says. Well, here it is - the Irish bred "Lighthouse Mill", which was not an unreasonable bet at 14/1 given its good performance at Wincanton some three weeks earlier (although it lengthened to 18/1 before the start - not a good sign).
