DH 3 Ballinderry
NIR's somewhat home-made weed control train passes through Ballinderry on the Antrim - Knockmore line. For some reason now forgotten, the CIÉ sprayer was unavailable in 1975 (or NIR had no money to hire it) and this contraption was cobbled together, probably at York Road, in order to keep the weeds down!
As far as I am aware, 1975 was its only year of use.
