Fishing, Hardy Zenith 15'-1 #10 Salmon Rod Test, 31 July 2019, v2 Short
A beautify balanced outfit. The rod has everything you would expect from Hardy. Beautifully finished, an olive / slate coloured Sintrix 440 blank, a good quality AAA cork handle, a stylish carbon flash reel seat and Fuji Titanium & REC recoil guides. The rod has a powerful back bone and cast the 10/11 line easily. Having only cast the rod on the grass, we believe the casting may be improved with one line weight heavier, possibly an 11/12 which would load the rod better. As Ted mentioned, 'the rod needs to be woken up'!
