Mount Errigal is 751 metres (2,464 ft) located beside Dunlewey, County Donegal, Ireland. It is the tallest peak of the Derryveagh Mountain range and the tallest peak in County Donegal. Errigal forms part of the mountain chain, called the "Seven Sisters" which includes Muckish, Crocknalaragagh, Aghla Beg, Ardloughnabrackbaddy, Aghla More & Mackoght. Errigal is well known for its pinkish glow from its quartzite substrate. Another noted quality is the ever-changing shape of the mountain, depending from where and when it is viewed. This shots shows Ted Foley and Sean Dohery descending from the summit on a cold early March day.
