spotlight week 12.11-12.15

Achi E says: I really like the effect that the slightly transparent ornament gives off. The gold surrounding it and the green from the tree inside of it makes it look really interesting. I also like how the background is blurred so you can pay attention to the details on the ornament like the glitters on the bow.

Achi E says: The little red/orange lights at the bottom right corner of this picture caught my eye first. Even though only the plant is focused in this picture, I just found it interesting that the bright lights in the photo contrasted the mid tones-dark tones thats throughout this photo.

Achi E says: This spit tone looks like a drawing for some reason to me. There's also so much detail in this picture. you can see every vein in the leaves and the detail in the petals of the flowers. It's very high definition and the split toning gives off a rather melancholy feeling to it.

Achi E says: The perspective of this photo is really interesting. I like how it's in the level of the glass instead of taking it in a view from standing up. The broken glass is also an interesting subject of the photo considering that there's a tree in the background. Due to the dark sky and how empty it is, it gives off a lonely mood.

Achi E says: I really like the fact that this photo is in black and white because I feel as if it would of really shown details in this photo, which it does. You can see the texture in the wood in this photo and I think it gives it a nice touch.

Achi E says: This is another photo where the perspective is interesting. Instead of taking a picture of the whole playground, it's only a small portion of it. The depth of this is really incredible as well.

Achi E says: The amount of colors and contrast in this picture is really good! The dark, black background really contrasts with the bright Christmas lights. I also like how you can still see some cars in this picture.

Achi E says: This picture is really interesting considering it's taken from the inside of a plant. I really like the colors in this one. The yellows, greens and red really compliment each other in this photo. I also like how much details the leaves have.

Achi E says: The depth in this picture is really good! I really like the imprint of whatever the subject in. In a way, this picture is abstract due to how blurred the background is. It's really hard to tell what this is which makes it really interesting!

Achi E says: The details in this flower is incredible. The black background really brings attention to the bright color of the flower and the details in it. Also how the flower is positioned makes this photo great.
