It is ironic that a direct scan of my face is so distorted! I used a scanner for this shot. I feel it qualifies as a photo because it was a direct light capture of an original image. The medium captures details very close to the surface and very little even slightly farther away. The random lines all over are the plastic wrap to protect the cover from oil. This is an interesting effect. The blurring and detail of the hair are neat.
