Dr. Meg Jordan, PhD is a multidisciplinary artist and social scientist based in Nashville, TN. Through her paintings, murals, and textiles, she shares intergenerational lessons and stories she learns from her ancestors, community members, and her own navigation of the world. An overarching goal of Dr. Meg's work is to create imagery that provides hope and grounds her viewer in nature and humanity in times of normlessness.
Her recent works tell stories of intergenerational black liberation and strivings and encompass a how-to of surviving, resisting, and thriving in oppressive, fatalistic times.
