Short eared owl
Flying across Middle wick ranges, historical land eared marked for 1000 houses. Owned by the Ministry of Defence, who apparently no longer need this land, so are selling it, or already sold it. Who knows! Although the owls have now gone, the wildlife this land holds is amazing. Skylarks can now be heard and seen flying up through the long grasses and down again. I played on this land as a child and to this day can still hear the firing practice from my home. Long may I continue to hear it! SAVE THE WICK.
