"Baltic Amber 2022"

I show here inclusions in Baltic Berstein. The images are stacks, i.e. several layered images are taken and processed into one image using special software. Different microscope lenses and a special flash illumination are used.
These inclusions show insects that were enclosed in a fossil resin drop about 40 to 50 million years ago!
