Intermediate Egret (Ardea intermedia)

Status in the ACT is “rare non-breeding visitor”. This guy didn’t get the message, being in full breeding colours and plumage. Widespread in the North and East in wetter areas of the country. Seen at Jerrabomberra Wetlands ACT
