Female Turquoise Parrot (Neophema pulchella)

An uncommon vagrant visitor to these parts. This is a small ground feeding parrot of the south east. Habitat is open forest and woodland edge. Has won instant celebrity status at Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Canberra ACT.
