After a very successful morning in the Peak District of Derbyshire nearly 16 years ago, it was across the Pennines to Cheshire for the afternoon & evening before returning home via London! 57303 Warrington Bank Quay 260509 (6J37)

After my third bus trip of week tomorrow, I'm going to ignore the medical advide & get back on the bike, because it's so bloody boring home alone.

57303 "Alan Tracy" (In Virgin Trains livery & one of those loco's named after characters from "Thunderbirds", but on hire to Colas Railfreight) - 6J37 (1251 SX COY from Carlisle New Yd to Chirk Kronospan, which consisted of 13 individually numbered KFAs loaded with logs) - Warrington Bank Quay - afternoon c1630 - 26/05/09.

A picture of the train departing in a lucky patch of sunshine after it's crew change can be found here:-
