I knew the crystal clear blue skies & sunshine wouldn't last, but at least I tried before going to the "Six Asbo's" in Hertford for lunch!! 66789 Wharf Rd LC, Wormley 100125 (6Q98cse)

66789 "British Rail 1948 - 1997" (renumbered from 66250 & repainted into Large logo livery" - 6Q98 (0934 FO STP Whitemoor Yard LDC - Eastleigh East Yard, which conisited of 9 Weedkilling vehicles [all have individual numbers, but none taken] & would normally be formed into three sets) - Wharf Rd LC, Wormley - 1212 (2 minutes late & five minutes behind the "Stansted Express" - 10/01/25.

The weather apps were correct & high cloud pushed NE during the morning, although it was still reasonably sunny when I left home after de-icing the car & was almost clear less then two miles from here on the journey home, but a couple of hours later the cloud had moved further North East & had reached Hertford after lunch!!

I bet it's thick freezing tomorrow morning & not worth the drive to Stansted Airport!!!!!!!

UPDATE (1855 - 10/01/25) - The local weather forecast on ITV at 11am said the cloud would return back South in the afternoon & they were correct. At least it was only a "Shed" so I won't be losing any sleep there & I must get "she who must be obeyed" to change out fortnightly lunches on a Friday, as I wont get the DC "Tug" passing the semaphores at Manea before they go!!
