What happened to the "Bone"? 47315 Willington Power Station 100994 (7H96)

47315 "Templecombe" in Civil Engineer's "Dutch" livery arrived Willington Power Station at 1235 on Saturday September 10th 1994 with 7H96, the 0830 "Merry-Go-Round" service from Calverton Colliery (1140 ex Toton New Bank), which was formed of 36 HAAs loaded with coal. Just visible, top left, were the cooling towers of Drakelow Power Station.

Who would have thought, the most interesting working that day would have been a "Duff", as I can't believe many worked an MGR in 1994 & was the only occassion after the Class 20's were withdrawn, that I photographed a train not hauled by a Class 58 or 60 in the Power Station.

Meanwhile on the Mainline, there were three "Grids" (56054/095/113), seven "Bones" (58008/013/014/029/031/033/044) & seven "Tugs" (60012/013/030/058/074/077/094) in under 7 hours. Not bad for a Saturday!!!
