I took this photo because I wanted to take an overhead view photo of a group of people. To do this, I walked up to the second floor of a parking garage and set up my camera looking toward the end of a crosswalk, waiting for people to walk by. For editing, not much was able to be done after the black and white effect. I touched up the photo with some exposure and contrast tweaks but that was it. A person just walking on a street corner with someone wouldn’t be as appealing unless it was taken at an interesting angle. People walking on the street make a commute around the city every day, but the overhead angle works well to get a different perspective.
