The Swabian Alb, formerly also known as the Swabian Jura or Schwabenalb, is a low mountain range in southern Germany and with small parts in Switzerland. It is about 200 to 220 km long, 20 to 40 km wide, including the small Swiss portion 5887.35 km²[1] and up to 1015.7 m above sea level. NHN[2] high. The mountain range consists of Mesozoic limestone from the Jurassic period and is one of the largest contiguous karst areas in Germany.
