...Before the Storm

Mount Shasta has a way of "holding on" to clouds that blow in from the Pacific. In this image, a storm is brewing, but the wind goes calm just before the sun says goodnight. The result is a perfectly calm Lake Siskiyou, with a mirror-like reflection of the mountain and it's attendant clouds offering a double dose of the magical colors of sunset.
