P1170818 Sierra del Carmen, Mexico from Big Bend

Storm gathering over the Sierra del Carmen, 1974. Looking east from Big Bend, the high sierra is in Mexico and rises to an altitude of 8,921 feet above sea level, pine forests in the summit peaks. Faulting along the front produces wavy limestone rock formations.

35mm slide taken in May, 1974 with Konica AutoreflexA with Vivitar Series 1, 70-210mm zoom lens or Konica Hexanaon AR lens scanned with the macro function of my Panasonic DMC FZ300.
