Macro Mondays, theme of June 12, 2023: Beads
This translucent plastic bead of a broken (children's) necklace (1.3 cm in diameter) reminds me of a lonely space station at the Outer Rim ... thus the title (mixing up different SciFi Worlds, lol)
I used my light tent, dimmed with black cloth in a darkened room, a mirror inside with blue glitter foam rubber in the background (the mirrored blue rim is the edge of it).
Some sidelight from the outside (reading lamp) and additional lighting with a LED torch to get some light reflexes on the bead.
HMM ... and enjoy your meal : ))
