I am spiralling out of coffee !!

... yes: we are back to coffee-related images : ))

 

This is the mesh filter of a French Coffee Press / Cafetiere, backlit with a little rainbow coloured LED light.

I took a similar image some time ago for MM - see first comment - but this time I could get even more close due to the LAOWA 60mm 2x ultra macro lens (although using the big press this time with 8.5 cm in diameter instead of 6.5 cm)

 

This image is about 2.5 cm wide at max ... the spiralling metal is under 1 mm wide; the gap between the spirals 3 mm
