John Andrew Ford Parts | Newton

I spent 5 years working in this dungeon! Some good people, and what kept me going was a love for Australian Ford's! During my time here working in the inwards and outwards goods, I owned four Fords, three Fairmont Ghia's and one Falcon.

 

Terry Seymour was the Parts Manager, and Ron Omudsen a former Parts Manager when this was built new worked as inventory controller/stocktaker.. geez he could talk! I remember the morning tea walks and the odd fish n chip lunches with Ron :)

 

Sadly this is all history, now gone for some years now.

 

As I was a former house painter, Ron got me to spruce up the warehouse in battleship grey! This went on for sometime, almost all wood surfaces, shelve ends, desks, trolleys, were painted by me :)
