819 At Apponaug

Since I was awake on an afternoon for a change with an hour to kill I purposely came back here to shoot mundane regular trains with no freights or heritage units or work trains! Certainly just shooting the corridor purely for the sake of it here in the Ocean State is something I almost never do but really should make more of an effort at.

 

Anyway this spot is one of the the few in Rhody where the former New Haven Shoreline is actually in view of any salt water!

 

Here is Keolis/MBTA train 819 for Wickford Junction sailing railroad west over Apponaug Cove at MP 174.5 on the Northeast Corridor (formally known as Amtrak'sNew Haven Line) .
