Rolling Thru Rochdale
Here is another look at the brightly painted visitor that came to New England briefly leading CSXT train I014, an extra peak season premium intermodal train. from North Bergen, NJ to Worcester. First responders unit 911 is a GE ES44AC-H blt. Jul. 2008 that received this special one of a kind scheme in April of 2019.
The hot train is seen coiling through the horseshoe curve and passing beneath Pleasant Street and through a small rock cut before hopping over the French River behind me. They are passing through the little old mill village of Rochdale at about MP 53 on CSXT's Boston Sub, the one time Boston and Albany mainline, with their final terminal only 8 rail miles away.
